A workspace’s channel cap and voice-room cap follow the plan of the person who owns that workspace. You can join workspaces other people own even on Free. The “1 workspace” limit is how many you can create yourself.
Upload size follows the sender. Free is 5 MB and Plus is 8 MB, counted as mebibytes (5 × 2²⁰ and 8 × 2²⁰ bytes). For a file, that is the size before encryption. For a message, it is the ciphertext. Those sizes did not change with the channel and voice caps.
The history you can scroll follows your own plan: 30 days on Free, 3,650 days (10 years) on Plus. A hourly job also deletes messages older than 30 days when the sender is on Free.
A new channel or a new person joining voice is what the cap checks. Workspaces, channels, and calls you already have stay as they are.
Plus is not for sale on this website yet. When a price is ready, you will be able to upgrade from the app.
